Cranberry Meat Loaf Recipe


Cranberry sauce adds a really yummy treat to this meat loaf.


Ingredients:

1 lb. Ground Beef

1/4 lb. Bulk Pork Sausage

1/3 cup quick-cooking Rolled Oats

1/3 cup Milk

1 Egg, beaten

2 Tbsp. Onion, finely chopped

1/2 tsp. Salt

Dash Pepper

1 lb. can Whole Cranberry Sauce

1/3 cup Brown Sugar

1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice


Directions:

Thoroughly combine ground beef, bulk pork sausage, quick-cooking rolled oats, milk, egg, onion, salt, and dash of pepper; and shape it into 5 individual loaves.


Place in 13x9x2” baking dish.  Combine can whole cranberry sauce, brown sugar, and lemon juice and spoon over the loaves.


Bake for 45 minutes, basting once or twice with glaze.  Remove loaves to warm platter. Skim fat from sauce and pour some sauce over meat loaves; pass remaining.
